What you can contribute

• Accompany management members to meetings with external partners
• Take minutes of meetings and manage the follow-up of outstanding tasks
• Assist in the preparation of political matters for the Federal Council, Parliament, the department and management, ensuring the quality of documents and their suitability for the target audience
• Support the organisation of international conferences in Switzerland as well as preparations related to Switzerland's participation in international negotiations in the field of environmental policy
• Participate in the development of reports and decision-making bases in the field of scientific policy (climate, biodiversity, pollution)

What makes you unique

• Degree from a university of political, social or human sciences
• Experience and great ease in writing
• Good knowledge of Swiss political processes, experience in administration and strong interest in the federal level, particularly environmental policy
• Independent, resilient and flexible personality who enjoys working within a small team
• Active knowledge of at least two official languages as well as English and, ideally, passive knowledge of a third official language.
