An exciting challenge awaits you with us: We are building up our local reservations department in Zurich – and you will be involved from the very beginning. Together with your supervisor and the team, you ensure that our guests are well cared for from the first contact and that enquiries turn into bookings and bookings into anticipation.

Job Description

What does your working day look like...

• You are part of our newly forming reservations team and actively contribute your ideas
• You handle individual and group reservations via our various booking channels and ensure everything is correctly recorded in the system
• You are the contact person for our guests and respond to reservation enquiries by phone and in writing
• You keep an eye on our hotel and reservation mailboxes and ensure timely processing
• You work daily with our PMS and reservation systems and take care of clean data and booking maintenance
• You manage and maintain contingents and allocations
• You take care of invoice changes as well as the checking and sending of group invoices
• You take over the file maintenance in Opera Cloud and ensure high data quality.
• You keep an eye on our returning guests and take care of guest recognition and our regular guest relationships
• You find the right solution even for special guest requests or complaints
• And above all: Together with the team, you ensure that our guests feel well looked after even before their arrival

Qualifications

Your personality counts more than your CV...

• You already have experience in reservations or at a hotel front office.
• You are an organisational talent and work in a structured, careful, and reliable manner.
• Even when many things happen at once, you keep an overview and set the right priorities.
• You enjoy working in a team but can also organise your area independently and responsibly.
• You communicate confidently in German and English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
• You enjoy contact with international guests and have a good sense for individual wishes and needs.
• Experience with Opera Cloud is a plus – but more important to us is that you are eager to learn and take on responsibility.
