Nursing Assistant

The University Clinic for Gynaecology and Ophthalmology at the Inselspital Bern is a leading, internationally recognised medical centre. In our ward for Gynaecology and Ophthalmology with 31 beds, we care for women with gynaecological, oncological and senological conditions as well as patients following surgical procedures on the eye. The ward is jointly managed by team leaders and a department head and offers a committed working environment with diverse development opportunities.

What to expect

• Independent work as well as taking on the household and department-specific tasks that arise
• Cleaning, disinfecting and proper disposal of nursing materials and equipment as well as restocking patient and emergency rooms
• Care, maintenance and correct packaging of instruments and sterilisation materials
• The work is carried out in shifts

What you bring

• You have completed training as an SRK nursing assistant and ideally already have professional experience in this role
• You are accustomed to working independently and reliably and enjoy teamwork
• We expect basic PC skills, very good oral and written knowledge of the German language, as well as flexibility and resilience
