Certified Specialist OP (Surgical Technology HF / Surgical Nursing Specialist OP)

The OP platform is an independent, interdisciplinary unit that unites all surgical areas of the Inselspital as well as the Aarberg and Riggisberg sites. The Urology Clinic covers the entire spectrum of diagnostics and therapy for urological diseases, with a special focus on complex and minimally invasive procedures. As the largest stone centre in Switzerland, we treat around 2,000 inpatient and 15,000 outpatient patients annually from both domestic and international locations.

What to expect

• You will assist and instrument during operations while adhering to hygiene standards
• You will take responsibility for the proper preparation and follow-up of medical-technical equipment
• You will perform site-adapted duties including weekend and on-call service
• You will handle administrative tasks such as operation-specific patient documentation and maintain standards and protocols
• You will support your team in training and further education on the job

What you bring

• Completed training as a Certified Specialist in Surgical Technology or Certified Surgical Nursing Specialist HF / FH FA OP
• Specialist knowledge in urology is preferred, but anyone willing to learn new skills is warmly welcome
• Resilient personality with planning and organisational skills, sense of responsibility and flexibility
