Role:
In this role, you play a central part in the technical leadership and further development of the Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms as the basis for modern, integrated work, identity, and collaboration environments. You take on the design, operation, and continuous development of standardised cloud and collaboration services, including standardisation, automation, and governance of the cloud environment. You are responsible for designing and implementing identity, access, and device management strategies in IT and OT environments as well as integrating Microsoft 365 services into existing on-premises and cloud landscapes. Additionally, you develop and implement security, segmentation, and hardening requirements for cloud services and actively contribute to shaping the IT/OT architecture, the associated service environment, and group-wide IT standards and policies. Furthermore, you take overall control and responsibility for IT projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- You design and are responsible for service design and service management for standardised cloud and collaboration services.
- In this role, you continuously develop, operate, and optimise Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
- You standardise and automate the cloud services landscape and ensure effective governance.
- As a cloud and collaboration systems engineer, you design identity, access, and device strategies across IT and OT domains.
- You seamlessly integrate Microsoft 365 services into existing IT and OT system landscapes on-premises and in the cloud.
- In this role, you lead IT projects and bear overall responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- You have an IT degree or a higher technical education (TS, HF, FH) with a focus on computer science or comparable professional experience in the mentioned areas.
- You have solid practical experience with the Microsoft 365 platform, Azure services, Entra ID, as well as in identity, access, and device management and cloud security controls.
- You have very good scripting and automation skills, especially with PowerShell, and use these purposefully to increase efficiency.
- You think in architectures and end-to-end services, have a broad technical understanding across system, service, and domain boundaries, and work in a structured, risk- and solution-oriented manner.
- You are characterised by a strong security mindset with a focus on availability, resilience, and damage limitation and ideally have experience in regulated, documentation- and audit-relevant environments.
- You communicate very confidently in German and have professional communication skills in French.
