The University Psychiatric Centre Bern (UPZ) is a renowned university hospital in the field of mental health and research. We are continuously seeking reinforcement to strengthen our dynamic team and to advance high-quality patient care as well as the further development of clinical research. Deployment is possible in various areas of psychiatry. The UPZ offers care and services in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult and geriatric psychiatry, as well as forensic psychiatry. Your skills and experience will be utilised where our requirements and your expectations are aligned.

Your tasks

• Diagnosis, therapy planning and implementation of psychiatric treatments
• Supervision of assistant doctors and nursing staff
• Close cooperation with other specialist departments and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Participation in the further development of work concepts in close collaboration with a committed, multiprofessional team is another part of this interesting role

Your profile

• You hold the specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy with MEBEKO recognition (mandatory for foreign diplomas).
• Extensive clinical experience in the field of psychiatry is an advantage
• Leadership experience and organisational skills as well as interest in taking on leadership and training responsibilities complete your profile
• Teamwork and communication skills are among your strengths
• Commitment to the continuous development of the department
• Willingness to work interdisciplinarily
• You have oral and written German skills at level C1
