Project Manager Construction Management (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management and construction management of demanding building projects. You will take overall coordination of residential, commercial and hotel buildings and manage the projects from planning through realisation to turnkey handover. The focus is on project leadership, cost, schedule and quality management as well as coordination of clients, authorities and planning partners. The position combines technical and economic project responsibility with the professional leadership of interdisciplinary project teams.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of demanding building projects in new construction, conversion and renovation
Organisation and control of the entire planning and construction process up to turnkey handover
Leadership and coordination of project teams, architects, specialist planners and other project participants
Central contact person for clients, authorities, planning partners and companies
Responsibility for project budget, cost control, cost forecasts and financial project management
Creation and monitoring of project schedules, milestones and construction programmes
Ensuring the defined quality, cost and schedule targets throughout all project phases
Management and coordination of tendering, awarding and contract processes
Conducting project, planning and coordination meetings as well as managing pending issues and decision-making
Handling change and supplementary management and assessing impacts on costs and schedules
Accompanying execution, acceptance, defect rectification and commissioning until successful project handover
Ensuring project execution in accordance with relevant SIA standards, Swiss building regulations and contract bases
Qualifications:
Degree as federally certified construction manager for building construction, certified technician HF, architect FH/ETH or draftsperson EFZ specialising in architecture with appropriate further training
Several years of professional experience in project management and construction management of building projects, ideally in residential, commercial or hotel construction
Sound knowledge in cost, schedule and quality management, tendering, awarding and contract management
Experience in professional leadership of project teams; further training such as CAS Project Management Construction is an advantage
Good German language skills, spoken and written
