Team Leader Work Permits II 100 %
Exciting tasks await:
- Personnel and professional leadership of around 8 caseworkers, responsible for work permits according to the Free Movement Agreement as well as work permits or notifications for persons with status N or F, B and S
- Respectful exercise of leadership tasks (employee development, qualification discussions, recruitment, accompanying change processes, etc.)
- Handling special cases and assisting in day-to-day business
- Co-responsibility for defining and documenting work processes (digital and manual), as well as guidelines and responsibilities in cooperation with the Team Leader Work Permits I
- Participation in projects and working groups, especially for digitalisation
- Drafting statements, as well as reviewing and signing orders
What you bring:
- Successful completion of a higher education in the commercial field (level of professional certificate, CAS or higher diploma) or equivalent training in related fields
- Mature personality with several years of professional experience and proven leadership experience, preferably in public administration
- Knowledge of immigration law is an advantage
- Interest in legal issues and enjoyment of working in the environment of politics and administration
- Committed and independent working style combined with a high standard of quality
- Service mentality and discretion

Your working environment
We are responsible at the Office for Migration and Integration for the enforcement of foreigner and asylum legislation and implement the integration policy of the federal government and canton. We issue permits for foreign persons, conduct labour market controls and ensure the enforcement of the illegal employment legislation. We advise foreigners wishing to return and enforce the expulsions ordered by the canton and federal government.
