Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced designer for the development and design of production equipment, fixtures, and operating resources. You will translate technical requirements into manufacturing-friendly solutions and work with CATIA. The position combines design, production optimisation, and close collaboration with manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Design of production equipment, fixtures, and assembly aids using CATIA
Creation of 3D models, manufacturing drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
Development and optimisation of manufacturing-friendly design solutions
Technical design and adaptation of tools and operating resources
Support in the production, testing, and commissioning of fixtures
Collaboration with production, planning, development, and quality assurance
Optimisation of existing production processes and operating resources
Qualifications:
Completed training as a designer EFZ, ideally with further education HF/FH
Several years of experience in the design of production equipment, fixtures, or operating resources
Very good knowledge of CATIA and 3D CAD
Solid knowledge of manufacturing technology, technical documentation, and design
Very good German language skills spoken and written
