In the Engineering division of Hydro Energy and Biomass, you will implement demanding projects in hydraulic engineering and hydropower. In doing so, you make an important contribution to a reliable and sustainable energy supply.
Your focus is on urban drainage and drainage planning for hydropower plants. As part of various renewal projects, the plant portfolio of our hydropower plants is brought up to the latest state of the art. Existing drainage systems are also checked and, if necessary, adapted or newly designed.
You can expect a versatile role at the interface of civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and hydropower. You work on projects with high technical relevance and actively shape the renewal of important infrastructures. To strengthen our expertise in this area, we are looking for you.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
You independently handle various tasks in the field of urban drainage for hydropower plants – from conception to implementation.
You create drainage and water protection concepts and design the necessary measures derived from them.
You take on the management of projects or subprojects.
You coordinate and lead external planning offices as well as executing companies within the scope of the projects.
You participate in other hydraulic engineering and hydropower projects.
You ensure compliance with quality, costs and deadlines.
You work closely with internal specialist departments, authorities, associations and other external stakeholders.
Profile & Requirements:
Completed studies as a Dipl. Civil Engineer ETH, FH or TU; alternatively a degree as Dipl. Cultural or Environmental Engineer ETH, FH or TU.
Broad expertise in construction technology as well as sound knowledge in urban drainage and general drainage planning.
Experience in project management is an advantage.
Open, communicative and solution-oriented personality.
Enjoyment of demanding construction projects and assignments throughout Switzerland.
Very good German skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage.
