Mandated by the Cantonal Service for Day Care of Children (SCAJE) and the General Directorate of Post-Compulsory Education (DGEP), the Interest Community for Family Day Care (CIAFJ) aligns with the intention expressed in Article 1.a of the Law on Day Care of Children, to promote the quality of all day care environments in the canton of Vaud, including family day care. Through its various actions and projects, particularly in basic and continuing training of carers, it ensures the strengthening of synergies between stakeholders interested in the different forms of day care for children.

Your mission
In close collaboration with the Presidency and the Association Committee, you will ensure the management of the CIAFJ. You are responsible for the quality of services, the strategic development of the association, and its smooth operation, both pedagogically, organisationally, humanly and financially. You also represent the association with institutional partners and actively contribute to its visibility.
Your main responsibilities
- Participate in the development of the association's strategy and ensure its implementation;
- Regularly inform the committee on matters related to the management of the association;
- Ensure good human resource management, coordinate and support employees and external contributors;
- Design, supervise and develop training services;
- Lead development projects and anticipate sector evolutions and needs;
- Implement an evaluation and continuous improvement process for services, ensure statistical monitoring;
- In collaboration with institutional partners, define, present and manage the budget; ensure good financial resource management of the association;
- Develop internal and external communication of the association;
- Maintain quality collaborations with institutional partners, clients and authorities;
Your profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in social work, education science or an equivalent qualification;
- You have a certified postgraduate training in training engineering or adult education, or other relevant fields for the position;
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in childhood or social work, complemented by at least 2 years’ practice in adult education;
- You have proven experience in project management;
- You understand the challenges of the field of child care, family day care and adult education;
- You are recognised for your leadership, your ability to lead projects, as well as your initiative;
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are comfortable collaborating with a variety of institutional partners;
- You are autonomous, organised, and work with rigour and a sense of priorities;
