The Vallée de Joux Health Centre is an innovative institution employing 220 staff members in Le Sentier. Following an integrated care model, its missions include hospital, medico-social, and community services. It works closely with partners from local and cantonal health and community networks. It provides the population with coordinated care and health services.

We are looking for our sociocultural animation service at the EMS Alp’Age for a:
Social and Educational Assistant (ASE) at 70%

Main activities

Enhance the physical, psychological, and social well-being of elderly people. Promote the maintenance of skills, autonomy, and enjoyment of life by supporting them in group and individual activities. You create new activities and take advantage of the news and resources of the Vallée de Joux. You participate in administrative tasks and housekeeping. You work closely with various care partners and cooperate with other services of the Health Centre.

Skills – required qualifications

• Hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as ASE or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
• Have experience with elderly people, an interest in this population and its particularities
• Experience in psychiatric care for the elderly – an asset
• Be autonomous and proactive in collaborating within a small team
• Have a sense of responsibility
• Possess analytical and adaptability skills
• Have a creative mind
• Ease in relationships and communication
• Hold a driving licence
