Logistics Controller / Distribution Specialist (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally active Swiss mechanical engineering company focusing on highly precise manufacturing and production technologies. Using the most modern development and manufacturing methods, the company develops and produces innovative solutions for demanding industrial applications. Responsibilities:
You develop national and international shipping and distribution concepts further and manage collaboration with logistics partners
You are responsible for logistics controlling including KPI reporting, route evaluations, and relevant key figures
You take on cost centre responsibility and contribute to budgeting and forecasting
You plan and implement logistics and digitalisation projects and contribute to ERP developments
You analyse logistical customer requirements and develop economical and practical solutions
You work closely with warehouse, branch, and distribution logistics as well as internal specialist departments
You optimise route and distribution processes using modern, partly AI-supported solutions
Qualifications:
Basic logistics training with further education in supply chain management, distribution logistics, or business administration
Several years of experience in distribution, logistics controlling, export, or a comparable environment
Good knowledge of international logistics and export processes as well as experience with budgeting and forecasting
Very good SAP, Excel, and MS Office skills; Power BI is an advantage
Strong data and analytical skills as well as very good German language skills; English or French are advantageous
