You manage the backup and restore processes and ensure stable system operation
Together with the team, you conduct disaster recovery tests and further develop existing solutions
With your know-how, you implement monitoring and automation solutions for efficient workflows
You support the further development of the backup infrastructure as well as migrations and infrastructure tasks
If necessary, you take on the on-call service and support the team in operational activities
Qualifications:
You have a higher education in computer science (university/FH) as well as 3-5 years of experience in backup management and engineering
You bring sound knowledge of SAN storage, Linux, Windows as well as experience with disaster recovery and data restoration.
You are familiar with Red Hat Linux, UNIX systems and have an affinity for automation
You convince with analytical skills, personal responsibility and very good English skills, both spoken and written
