Packaging and Compliance Specialist

What you accomplish
- Ensure compliance of food contact packaging (declarations of conformity, migration, regulated substances, PFAS, MOAH/MOSH, heavy metals, ...)
- Participate in the technical validation of new packaging
- Support packaging project managers in the development and industrialisation of new solutions.
- Contribute to packaging optimisation projects in terms of quality, costs and sustainability
- Conduct regulatory monitoring on Swiss and European requirements applicable to food packaging
- Participate in defining the group’s packaging standards and specifications
- Collaborate with suppliers, industrial sites, quality, purchasing and sustainability departments.
What you bring
- Education: Completed initial or continuing education
- Specialisation: Training in packaging, materials science or equivalent education
- Professional experience: 2 to 5 years experience in packaging management or regulatory affairs.
- Strong interest in food regulation, sustainability and packaging-related issues
- Analytical mindset, sense of responsibility and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable with IT tools, especially MS Office (Excel) and ideally SAP
- Rigorous, structured and autonomous working method
- French (B1)
- English (B1)
- German (ADVANTAGEOUS)
