About the job
Your future training:
Within a small team, you will learn to ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the communal public space. You will also contribute to the logistical support of other services as well as the organisation of the municipality's events.
Your main activities:
- ensure the maintenance of roads, pavements and public squares (mowing, pruning, weeding, snow clearance and winter salting);
- participate in sweeping, cleaning and routine maintenance of the recycling centre and its surroundings;
- carry out small signalling works, road marking, installation/removal of barriers;
- perform maintenance interventions: simple repairs (curbs, manholes), minor masonry;
- participate in work carried out in the carpentry workshop;
- take part in the organisation of municipal events (setup, takedown, cleanliness);
- use and maintain tools and machines while strictly respecting safety rules and wearing PPE.
Your profile:
- you have completed your compulsory schooling;
- you enjoy manual work outdoors, in all weather conditions;
- you have a sense of public service, team spirit and reliably follow instructions;
- you have good physical condition and are comfortable with tools and machines.
