ICT System Engineer - Backup, Storage & Server (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the lifecycle management of server, storage & backup as well as their ongoing operation
Your tasks include backup, restore tests, storage and the Windows Server environment
You automate processes with PowerShell and take over patch management via Azure Update Manager
Additionally, you maintain documentation, support projects and collaborate with internal specialist departments and suppliers
In 2nd and 3rd level support, you analyse and resolve faults
Qualifications:
Completed IT training and several years of experience in the server, storage and backup environment
Very good knowledge of Windows Server as well as solid know-how in backup, replication and restore
Experience with on-premises lifecycle management
Knowledge of Azure Update Manager, Veeam, NetVault, VMware, Proxmox VE or Cisco SAN is a plus
Fluent written and spoken German and good understanding of Swiss German
