Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a specialist as Construction Manager Building Construction for the independent realisation of demanding new build and renovation projects in residential, administrative and commercial construction. You will accompany the projects from planning and tendering through construction execution to billing and warranty phase. As the central interface, you coordinate architects, specialist planners, experts and contractors and ensure professional, timely and cost-appropriate implementation. The position offers a varied field of activity in a professional environment with different building construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of new build and renovation projects in residential, administrative and commercial construction
Accompanying projects from the preliminary project through tendering and realisation to handover and warranty phase
Preparation of cost estimates, tender and submission documents as well as conducting offer comparisons
Coordination of architects, specialist planners, experts and contractors and ensuring interfaces during execution
Creation and monitoring of construction programmes and schedules as well as ongoing control of construction progress
Responsibility for cost control and construction accounting including measurement, time recording and invoice verification as well as construction billing
Leading and minute-taking of construction and coordination meetings as well as follow-up of agreed measures
Monitoring construction execution regarding quality, deadlines, costs and execution details
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, contracts, building regulations and quality requirements
Organisation and execution of acceptances and building handovers as well as managing defect management
Coordination and supervision of warranty work and completion of project-relevant documentation
Qualifications:
Training as draftsman EFZ specialising in architecture, construction manager, technician HF construction planning, architect FH or comparable qualification
Professional experience in construction management in Swiss building construction, ideally with new build and renovation projects
Knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, bidding and contractor awarding
Experience in scheduling, cost control, construction accounting and billing
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards, Swiss building regulations and contract basics
Good user skills in Microsoft Office and common construction administration software
Experience in residential, administrative and commercial construction is an advantage
