The Addiction Valais¦Sucht Wallis Foundation is the cantonal reference for addictions. It offers specialised support to anyone facing addictive behaviour (with or without substances), as well as to their relatives. It consists of five counselling and support centres, a day centre, three residential centres, socio-educational support services at home, and central services. The Foundation is inspired by the recovery model, through an individualised approach built with each person.
Our residential treatment centre via Gampel, in Gampel, welcomes 16 French-speaking and/or German-speaking beneficiaries. To strengthen our team at this centre, we are looking for a
socio-therapeutic worker 80%
Your mission and tasks:
Individual support within a comprehensive care framework and collective follow-up of people supported in residential treatment
Support in setting and monitoring individual goals
Management and facilitation of therapeutic groups, individual interviews, network interviews, family interviews
Management and referral of files of supported persons
Close collaboration with the external network (medical-social, legal and administrative services) and internal network
Work irregular hours between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm at most (weekend shifts), without night work.
Job requirements:
HES nursing diploma (or equivalent training), with a specialisation in psychiatry
Postgraduate training in addiction or willingness to undertake it
Professional experience in mental health or socio-therapeutic support
Professional experience in a residential context
Fluency in French and German, with a bilingual profile or a very good level in the other language
Capacity for introspection and self-reflection
Professional autonomy coupled with ease of working in a network
Excellent team spirit, curiosity, humility and sense of priorities
Ability to manage priorities, adaptability and flexibility
Driving licence
