Accounting & Controlling Specialist (m/f/d)

In this role, as a finance and controlling specialist, you shape the financial management of a dynamic industrial environment and contribute your professional know-how to fast, efficient decisions. You take on varied and responsible tasks in finance and controlling and work closely with a motivated, collegial team. Thanks to short decision-making paths, you can specifically advance finance-relevant processes and thus make a direct contribution to optimising workflows. Responsibilities:
- You manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial accounting
- In this role, you handle open items including dunning
- As a finance and controlling specialist, you process payroll including shift work
- You prepare monthly and annual financial statements as well as the associated reporting
- In this role, you reconcile and prepare VAT returns
- As a finance and controlling specialist, you continuously plan and monitor liquidity
Qualifications:
- You must have a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence in finance and accounting or a business degree or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of practical professional experience in finance, ideally in an SME in a similar role
- You work hands-on, structured, independently and reliably and like to take responsibility
- You are characterised by strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking and enthusiasm for process optimisation
- You are a team player with an eye for the big picture and a high awareness of quality and efficiency
- You communicate confidently in German, have good English skills and ideally also French skills, and are very proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
