Are you ready to leave your culinary mark in an extraordinary setting? We are looking for a kitchen manager who, with creative passion and a regional focus, reshapes and actively implements our kitchen – from the bistro and café area of Villa Merian to the Restaurant Iris, the lively meeting point and heart of the gardens, right through to the banquet area for the entire site in the Merian Gardens. 🍃

Whether for a small break in the greenery or lunch between inspiring seminars: we rely on fresh, seasonal dishes and a cheeky, unconventional concept that surprises.
• Villa Merian offers a charming bistro and café experience with a wide range of seminar offerings.
• Restaurant Iris is our all-day open dining restaurant and the hub for guests and seminar visitors, where creative and regional dishes are always the focus.
Your menu:
• Leadership and inspiration: As the head of the kitchen, you are responsible for management, developing innovative, seasonal menu concepts together with the overall manager for Villa Merian & Restaurant Iris. You are the key person who actively implements and stays at the pulse of the times (or the stove).
• Regionality and willingness to experiment: You rely on the treasures of our region and bring fresh, cheeky ideas to life on the plates – every dish becomes a genuine taste experience.
• Creative catering: Whether small private celebrations or large corporate events – you plan, organise and create extraordinary catering experiences across the entire Merian Gardens site.
• Team leadership and coaching: Together with the long-standing head chef of Restaurant Iris, you lead and motivate your team, foster an open, creative working atmosphere and further develop the team.
• Terms like sous-vide, green-vac or shock freezing are no strangers to you.
