Assistant Physician

The University Clinic for Neurology is the largest neurological clinic in Switzerland and offers high-quality treatment both in basic neurological care and in highly specialised medicine (Stroke Centre, Movement Disorders Centre (including deep brain stimulation), Sleep-Wake Epilepsy Centre (including pre-epilepsy surgical assessment). Annually, over 30,000 outpatients and approximately 2,000 inpatients are treated.

What to expect

The University Clinic for Neurology offers, within the Neurocentre, a high level of interdisciplinarity with many interesting specialities such as the Stroke Centre, sleep medicine with a sleep laboratory, movement disorders including deep brain stimulation, epilepsy with telemetry and epilepsy surgery assessments, neuroimmunology, muscle diseases, neuro-ophthalmology as well as cognitive and restorative neurology with intensive neuropsychological (early) rehabilitation (including the possibility of rotation in our neuro-rehabilitation in Riggisberg).

What you bring

You have at least one year of experience in clinical medicine (preferably internal medicine, neurology or neurosurgery), are committed and a team player. Preferably, you have completed your studies with a dissertation. Interest in clinical and/or experimental research is desirable.
