Role:
In this role as a specialist in accounts payable, you actively contribute to strengthening the financial foundation of the energy transition and sustainable solutions. You are responsible for the precise and timely processing of incoming invoices, ensuring efficient and reliable processes. You keep an overview of all transactions, carefully check data, and ensure that guidelines and requirements are consistently met. In close cooperation with adjacent departments, you support a transparent, digital, and future-oriented financial organisation. In doing so, you make a tangible contribution to decarbonisation and the shaping of the digital energy world.
Responsibilities:
- You check and post incoming invoices formally and factually, including correct pre-accounting.
- In this role, you coordinate closely with internal departments and external suppliers in case of uncertainties.
- As an accounts payable specialist, you prepare weekly payment runs, monitor payment deadlines, and optimise discounts.
- You perform ongoing reconciliation of accounts payable and actively support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- In this role, you act as the central contact person for suppliers in all invoice and payment matters.
- As an accounts payable specialist, you carefully maintain supplier master data and drive the automation of digital incoming invoice processing.
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial basic training and/or higher qualification, ideally with further education in accounting
- Several years of solid professional experience in accounts payable in the German, preferably also Polish and Austrian environment
- Very precise, structured, and independent working style with a high quality awareness
- Confident handling of ERP systems (SAP ECC, SAP HANA, ideally additionally VIM) as well as good MS Office skills, especially in Excel
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness in contact with suppliers and internal interfaces, as well as pronounced team spirit and high reliability
- Negotiation-level German language skills; additional language skills in French and/or English are a plus
