About the job
Our field of activity:
Industrial machines for heavy equipment in the naval sector.
Development, realisation and manufacture of special machines integrating robotics, automation and welding.
Your main responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain the programming of our welding robots used on our machines.
Create, analyse and improve trajectories and sequences defined by algorithms developed in-house.
Work closely with the welding, automation and software engineering teams.
Participate in the validation and testing of systems to ensure compliance with functional requirements.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Write functional analyses of the programmes to be developed.
Provide support and maintenance for deployed systems.
Intercontinental travel to be expected (to be discussed).
Your profile:
Training in robotic engineering or deemed equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial robot programming.
Senior profile sought.
Significant experience in industrial integration of 6-axis robots with management of additional axes.
Experience in real-time trajectory tracking will be an asset.
Mastery of ABB robots' RAPID programming language.
Experience with ABB's offline simulation software RobotStudio.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, etc.)
Dynamic, pragmatic and autonomous personality, with good interpersonal skills and a strong technical culture.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is necessary (internal training possible).
