The Stroke Unit is part of the University Clinic for Neurology and a pioneer in stroke treatment. The Stroke Center is the largest stroke centre in Switzerland and a world leader. As a qualified nurse, you are part of this success story. In the new Anna-Seiler-Haus, the Stroke Unit and the Intermediate Care Units of Cardiovascular Surgery and Cardiology, the interdisciplinary IMC of Intensive Care Medicine with Neurosurgery and Visceral Surgery are organised on one platform. The platform is characterised by interdisciplinarity and close collaboration between the various specialties. Patient care, education and research are a high priority for us and are inseparably linked.
What to expect
- Nursing care and monitoring of patients in the initial period after stroke according to the latest scientific findings
- Interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration in a specialised unit
- Support with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Early recognition and management of acute and emergency situations
- Operation of devices and aids
- Caring for and supporting relatives of patients in critical condition
What you bring
- Qualification as a registered nurse
- Talent and interest in operating medical devices and good PC user skills
- Very good German (at least level B2)
- Reliable, professionally competent, friendly and resilient
- Certificate course in adult monitoring care (ÜWP) or willingness to complete it
