Professional Curator

To replace a colleague during her maternity leave, we are looking for a motivated person to commit to a meaningful mission, serving the most vulnerable people.

As a professional curator, you practise a demanding, useful and deeply human profession. Every day, you support and protect vulnerable adults facing various issues in social, administrative, financial, legal and health domains.

The diversity of people and situations enriches the profession and offers a stimulating, varied and constantly evolving work environment.

You carry out your activity within a structured professional framework, in a service that applies the intercantonal recommendations of the Conference on the protection of minors and adults (COPMA), particularly those concerning the number of cases per curator. You benefit from internal support in legal, financial, fiscal and insurance matters.

You contribute daily to the prospect of a dignified and autonomous life for all, thus participating in social justice.

• Diligent management of adult protection measures entrusted by the cantonal Justices of the Peace, in accordance with the legal and regulatory framework.
• Management of assets and legal representation.
• Management of beneficiaries’ income and expenses.
• Development of an active partnership with professional networks and beneficiaries’ relatives.
• Building a relationship of trust with beneficiaries.
• Commitment to the initial training required for the role and to continuing education useful for the development of the service.

• Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences or university in social, legal or financial fields, or an equivalent qualification.
• 3 years of professional experience related to the service’s missions or significant experience in supporting vulnerable adults.
• Any additional training related to health, addiction, migration, law, budget management and social insurance is welcome.
• Excellent organisational skills, administrative and financial rigour.
• Autonomy, stress resistance, sense of responsibility and priorities.
• Open-mindedness, listening skills, flexibility, great adaptability and learning ability.
• Disclosure of any criminal record and an extract from the Debt Collection Office are required for this position.
• Driving licence.
