In this role, you bring your neurological expertise into a versatile clinical environment and care for patients both on an outpatient and inpatient basis. You take responsibility in acute neurology, in the care of neurological emergencies and on the stroke unit, and also conduct consultations in post-inpatient follow-up care as well as in specialist clinics according to your expertise. Furthermore, you engage in training, supervision and mentoring of assistant physicians and students and contribute to high-quality clinical care. You have the opportunity to specialise in a neurological subspecialty, develop your own professional focus areas and, if interested, participate in research projects. A specialist title in neurology FMH or imminent completion thereof is required, as well as enthusiasm for a responsible role in an interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
- You care for patients with neurological diseases in acute neurology, on the stroke unit and in neurological emergencies
- In this role, you conduct outpatient consultations and accompany patients in post-inpatient follow-up care as well as in specialist clinics according to your expertise
- As a senior physician / consultant in neurology, you participate in the neurological emergency service for senior physicians and take responsibility in clinical care
- You engage in training, supervision and mentoring of assistant physicians and students
- In this function, you care for inpatient neurological patients and work closely with the involved professional groups
- You specialise in a neurological subspecialty, further develop your own professional focus areas and, if interested, contribute to research projects
Qualifications:
- You hold the specialist title in neurology FMH or are about to obtain it.
- Ideally, you have experience in neurological senior physician work.
- You are interested in a versatile clinical role with outpatient and inpatient patient care.
- You work independently, responsibly and appreciate collaboration in an interdisciplinary environment.
- You possess high social competence, communicate clearly and treat patients and colleagues with respect.
- You enjoy working in a motivated team and are committed to the further development of neurology.
