About the job

The Vaud Disability Transport Foundation is a non-profit organisation, recognised as being of public utility, which provides mobility for people with disabilities.

The "Planning" service, composed of 4 staff members, organises and plans the transport of beneficiaries. To complete this team, we are immediately looking for:

A Transport Planner

at 100%.

Your mission:

• Plan transport taking into account available resources (drivers and vehicles), specific client care protocols and the company’s regulations on working hours.
• Manage planning changes, especially in case of transport cancellations, delays, traffic problems, or any other unforeseen events.
• Provide support to drivers and inform them in case of questions.
• Answer telephone calls from our institutional partners regarding transport-related questions.
• Manage the administrative tasks necessary for the smooth running of the service.

Your profile:

• You have several years of experience in transport planning, ideally in the social or medical field.
• You are proficient with the Office 365 computer tool and knowledge of Medlink would be an asset.
• You have a good knowledge of the geography of French-speaking Switzerland and particularly the Greater Lausanne area.
• You enjoy working under some urgency and thus make good use of your stress resistance.
• You have the ability to analyse a situation and quickly find relevant solutions.
• Your kindness, listening skills and client orientation allow you to manage drivers’ requests and facilitate the smooth running of transports.
• Thanks to your team spirit, you support your colleagues and collaborate easily across departments.

• An activity from Monday to Friday totalling 42.5 hours, with variable hours between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.
