We are currently looking for our campus SHMS LEYSIN for a :
Reporting to the Executive Kitchen Chef, the Kitchen Chef must have expertise in being an hands-on leader who demonstrates interest in developing practical and innovative solutions to ensure constant and positive promotion of the Culinary facilities.
Main duties and Responsibilities :
- Supervise and ensure the smooth running of the overall kitchen operations on a daily basis,
- Supervise the purchase, delivery & storage of all equipment & supplies in accordance with the school’s standards,
- Supervise the daily Food Production and coordinate with the team the operational,
- Ensure the smooth running of the stewarding team operations in collaboration with the service team,
- Ensure a smooth collaboration and coordination with the restaurant & outlets service team,
- Ensure the consistent production of high quality food to the students, staff & visitors within the allocated budget in a safe & clean environment.
Requirements :
- Degree in a culinary school as a Cook (Professional Certificate or equivalent),
- At least 6-7 years’ experience in the industry, ideally in a leader position,
- Creative teamplayer, very well organized, leadership skills,
- Fluent in French and English written and spoken,
- Excellent communication skills and ready to work in a multicultural environment,
- Computer literate and at ease with new technologies.
