Senior Requirements Engineer (m/f/d)
- 02 June 2026
- 50 – 100%
- Permanent position
- German (Native language)
About the job
Digitalisation sounds like progress. However, many users often say at first, "Where has my button gone?" or "It used to be easier."
This is exactly where you come in.
You step into the role of the users, ask the uncomfortable (but important) questions, and ensure that complex requirements become intuitive digital solutions. You translate chaos into clarity – before anyone notices.
As the representative of the users, you accompany solutions from idea to implementation. And when in the end not only everything works, but customers say "Wow, that really makes sense" – then you have done your job.
Sounds like a role you recognise yourself in? Then we should get to know each other.
Your new role
- Together with our software developers, you support our customers in sustainably digitalising their business processes.
- You analyse the current state, gather customer requirements and conditions in workshops and translate these in a structured way into clear business and technical specifications.
- You design and define features, user stories, user journeys, mockups and acceptance criteria as a basis for implementation.
- In addition to requirements analysis, you take on a product-owner-adjacent role, prioritise the product backlog and support as product owner or scrum master if needed.
- You analyse end-to-end business processes and organisational structures and develop viable, user-centred solutions together with the scrum team.
- As the central interface between customers and implementation team, you accompany the implementation and ensure transparent and efficient collaboration within the interdisciplinary team.
We are holacratically organised and work in circles and roles. For this position, you are embedded in the Individual Software circle, specifically in the "Kintsugi" squad and take on the role of "Requirements Engineer". Taking on additional roles is possible depending on suitability, desire and resources.
Your superpowers
- You have a university degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related field – or equivalent, practical professional experience, especially in requirements engineering. For us, practical experience counts more than formal education.
- You bring experience in business software projects and understand the requirements of companies for digital solutions.
- You are an upbeat, open personality who enjoys working in direct exchange with customers and moves confidently in workshops.
- You have experience with modelling and analysis techniques such as BPMN, user story mapping or comparable methods.
- Certifications such as IREB, Scrum Product Owner or similar are advantageous but not mandatory.
- You have very good German skills (native or C2 level) as well as good English skills (at least B2).
- You communicate clearly, structured, empathetically and fit well into the team personally. Bonus point if you can also keep up at the pool table or playing "Töggele" (but please not too well, we don’t like to lose 😉).
Why it’s fun to work with us
- An exceptional variety of tasks that leaves (almost) no wishes unfulfilled and offers you plenty of creative freedom.
- A lived self-organisation where you actively shape your path and take on real responsibility.
- Varied challenges that help you grow professionally and personally every day – we accompany and support you specifically.
- An environment of highly qualified specialists where knowledge exchange is natural and collaboration at eye level is lived.
- The opportunity to develop pioneering digital solutions together with our customers and create real added value.
