Team Leader Property Management / Senior Property Manager (m/f/d)

Then, as a Team Leader Property Management or Senior Property Manager (m/f/d) with us, you will not only manage complex residential and commercial properties but also directly shape the quality of our service and the satisfaction of our clients and principals. Due to a new mandate, we are expanding our team by 2027 and are looking for a personality who, depending on experience and ambition, will take on a key role either in a leadership position (team leader) or in a senior specialist role with leadership and coaching responsibilities.
If you bring leadership strength in terms of coaching, entrepreneurial thinking, and enjoyment of professional collaboration, you are exactly the person we are looking for.
- Responsibility for the professional and personnel management as well as further development of employees in property management including quality assurance
- As a team leader: you usually lead 6–8 employees
- As a senior property manager: you usually take on the professional and personnel leadership of 3–5 employees and coach your team in daily operations
- Close cooperation with branch management and team leadership (in senior role) or branch management (in team leader role) on cross-cutting topics and processes
- Independent commercial and technical management of residential and commercial/industrial properties
- Responsibility for high customer satisfaction and compliance with our quality standards
- Monitoring developments in the rental market and tenancy law
- Active support of new and existing tenants as well as comprehensive lease management
- Effective vacancy management including follow-up leasing
- Negotiation and preparation of commercial and supplementary lease agreements, annexes, and amendments
- Conducting property inspections and handovers as well as accompanying tenant fit-out projects
- Preparation, review, and further development of detailed heating and operating cost statements
- Development of solution-oriented proposals for clients and preparation of meaningful reports
- Forecasting, budgeting, and planning with result responsibility
- Management and coordination of FM service providers
- Assumption of special tasks and participation in projects (especially in the team leader role)
Requirements
- Real estate professional with a federal diploma (property manager or trustee)
- Experience in a similar position (with leadership responsibility)
- Several years of professional experience in managing commercial properties as well as further experience in negotiating and drafting commercial lease agreements, annexes, and amendments
- Independent personality with entrepreneurial thinking
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills are an advantage
- Good IT application skills (MS Office programs, possibly GREM)
- Confident and well-groomed appearance with high social competence
- Valid driving licence and own car required (free parking in Root)
