In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr med Angelo Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The integrated treatment offer of the clinic includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic and a clinic school. The teams consist of clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing and social pedagogy, and in the clinic school, teachers and special needs educators. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified training centre category A.

Profile

• You hold a specialist title in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy FMH, are close to completing it, or have an equivalent MEBEKO recognised qualification
• You have leadership training or are willing to undertake such training
• You promote interdisciplinary work and are open to integrative therapy concepts
• You are characterised by initiative, high social competence and appropriate communication as well as flexibility and resilience

Responsibilities

• You lead the acute ward and ensure its operation professionally, administratively and economically
• Together with the co-leadership team for nursing/social pedagogy, you lead an interdisciplinary team with medical, psychological, nursing and social pedagogical staff both in terms of personnel and professionally
• You recruit new employees, support, develop and qualify your team
• You collaborate with the overall management of the inpatient area, as well as other departments of the KJP and external partners
• You contribute to the overarching development of institutional and professional attitudes and implement these in your team
• You participate in the background emergency service of the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
