The University Psychiatric Centre Bern opened a new day clinic in Burgdorf in April 2026 and now offers an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative day clinic setting with children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 years. You will take on both nursing and educational tasks in an interdisciplinary team to provide the best possible support for our patients. This responsible role includes planning and implementing differentiated treatment measures, collaborating with family systems and helpers, as well as conducting multi-family work. You can apply and further develop your expertise and social skills in this role.

Your tasks

• You work in a nursing or educational capacity in a day clinic setting with children and adolescents aged between 6 and 17 years
• You plan and carry out differentiated, patient- and system-centred treatment within the interdisciplinary team
• You review the effectiveness of the treatment measures carried out
• You conduct relieving, orientation-giving conversations with patients as well as their family systems and extended helper systems
• You maintain electronic documentation and record all services comprehensively
• You participate in team meetings, interdisciplinary case discussions, family and network meetings, supervisions and internal training sessions

Your profile

• You have completed training in social pedagogy or as a qualified nurse HF / FH
• You have several years of professional experience in psychiatry or are willing to train in this area. Experience working with children and adolescents is an advantage.
• You are characterised by high social and professional competence and are ready for constructive interdisciplinary collaboration
• You are resilient, reliable and remain calm and confident even in difficult situations
• You feel comfortable in a clinical environment and bring a touch of humour
• You have IT application skills and good knowledge of German
