As Head of Business Unit Urban Drainage / Civil Engineering / District Heating, you take on the technical, organisational and economic responsibility for demanding execution projects in the areas of urban and property drainage, civil engineering and district heating network construction. You lead a committed team, strategically develop the business unit and are a competent contact person for customers, project partners and employees.
Responsibilities:
Management and handling of execution projects in the areas of urban drainage, property drainage, civil engineering and district heating network construction
Support of project managers in concept studies and technical issues
Building and maintaining customer contacts as well as active project acquisition in the Aargau - Limmattal region
Collaboration with project engineers, site managers, drafters and the urban drainage technology group
Independent support and consulting of customers and external project partners
Responsibility for the technical, personnel and financial development of the business unit
Leadership and coordination of project teams currently comprising around 6 employees
Ensuring the content-related, scheduling and economic project goals
Guaranteeing the technical-professional quality as well as compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
Active participation in the management team of the Baden branch and shaping the strategic development of the area
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a civil engineer, environmental engineer FH/ETH or comparable qualification
At least 5 years of practical professional experience in the field of urban drainage, especially in site management
Sound knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines and technical fundamentals
Experience in the acquisition of new customers and projects
Experience in the successful leadership and development of project teams
Entrepreneurial thinking and enjoyment in further developing a business unit
Strong leadership skills with a focus on employee development, trust and communication at eye level
Open, goal-oriented and professional communication with customers, employees and partners
Structured and careful working style, confident appearance as well as high commitment and quality awareness
