Tasks and Responsibilities

Independent management of the general ledger accounting for several companies within the Gruner Group
Responsibility for the timely and high-quality preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss CO
Execution and documentation of balance sheet account reconciliations as well as handling of provisions, accruals, fixed assets and intercompany transactions
Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, legal requirements and defined ICS controls
Analysis and resolution of closing differences in collaboration with the responsible departments
Continuous optimisation, standardisation and automation of the record-to-report processes
Further development of financial processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Participation in group-wide finance and transformation projects
Taking over defined group-wide specialist topics (e.g. intercompany, foreign currency valuation etc.)
Contact person for internal and external audits as well as for controlling, treasury and tax

Your Profile

Commercial or business administration training with further education in finance and accounting, for example a professional certificate in finance and accounting, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting, ideally in an internationally active corporate group
Experience in independently preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss CO
Sound knowledge in balance sheet account reconciliations, provisions, accruals, intercompany reconciliations and VAT
Good knowledge of a modern ERP system; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a great advantage
Strong understanding of efficient, standardised and digitally supported financial processes
Structured, independent and reliable working style as well as a high quality standard
Solution-oriented personality with enthusiasm for cross-departmental and cross-country collaboration
Very good German skills as well as good English skills; French skills are an advantage
