In this role, you actively shape the transformation in controlling and develop answers to tomorrow’s questions. You apply your ability to quickly anticipate and thoroughly assess complex issues. You use your strong problem-solving skills to analyse demanding challenges in a structured way and develop effective solutions. With your high, fact-based persuasiveness, you significantly contribute to effectively supporting decisions in energy controlling. As a Senior Energy Controller, you take on a central role in an environment with increasing demands for transparency and control.
Responsibilities:
- You act as a sparring partner for executives up to senior management to improve business performance
- In this role, you take responsibility for energy and trading controlling
- As Senior Energy Controller, you analyse regulatory issues in the areas of electricity and networks
- You ensure a company-wide consistent valuation logic for investment projects
- In this role, you build financial models, further develop them, and keep them up to date
- As Senior Energy Controller, you ensure consistency between strategy, planning, forecasting, and reporting
Qualifications:
- You have completed further training as an expert in accounting and controlling or hold a comparable qualification
- You have proven experience in strategic controlling as well as in driver-based control models and KPI systems
- You bring experience in company valuation as well as in modelling profitability calculations and financial models
- You have several years of experience in the energy industry, energy trading, or trading controlling
- You have experience in management reporting and in preparing information appropriately for senior management and the board of directors
- You can demonstrate proven experience in project management
