In this role, you shape the next development step of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and drive the further development of the existing base. You analyse and understand business processes to simplify them and purposefully implement new functions in Business Central. You take responsibility for adjustments in AL and implement these independently in the system. You work closely with the specialist departments, internal IT, the iDIP team and an external Business Central partner. Professionally, you report directly to the Head of Finance and Services and thus contribute significantly to the optimisation of overall processes.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the operation and continuous further development of Business Central and prioritise internal requirements
- In this role, you analyse business processes with the specialist departments, question existing workflows and develop pragmatic solutions
- As ERP Application Manager Business Central, you independently implement small to medium adjustments and extensions with AL and Visual Studio Code
- You maintain and expand APIs as well as interfaces to other applications
- In this role, you configure and optimise digital process solutions in iDIP
- As ERP Application Manager Business Central, you plan updates, tests and releases with the external partner, support employees with questions and document relevant changes
Qualifications:
- You have a qualification or degree in business informatics, application development or a comparable practical qualification
- You have practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
- You can independently implement small to medium adjustments and extensions with AL
- You understand business processes and can translate requirements into functioning system solutions
- You work independently and pragmatically and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical contacts
- You have good German skills for collaboration with internal specialist departments
