Your responsibilities
- Coordinating daily activities in collaboration with technical consultants to ensure an efficient workflow in the Volvo/Kia/Suzuki workshop.
- Managing and coordinating the workshop team, fostering an efficient and collaborative working environment.
- Assigning work to mechanics based on skills, priorities and workload.
- Monitoring the progress of work, ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
- Providing technical support to the workshop team for technical issues and complex diagnostics.
- Organising daily workshop activities and optimising the use of personnel, equipment and resources.
- Checking the quality of work performed and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Supporting, supervising and training apprentices, monitoring their progress and acquired skills.
- Managing any operational issues and intervening promptly to find solutions.
- Collaborating with management and other departments to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company procedures and quality standards.
Your profile
- Diploma in Mechatronics AFC, APF Diagnostic or APF Workshop Coordinator.
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position in the automotive sector. Certification as a Volvo Technician is a plus.
- Experience in managing and coordinating a team of about 5–6 employees.
- Experience in training and supervising apprentices.
- Good technical skills and ability to diagnose and solve problems.
- Excellent organisational and work planning skills.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and other departments.
- Leadership skills, personnel management and team motivation.
- Good knowledge of a second national language (German or French).
