The Saphir Foundation, a multi-mission foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people weakened in their physical and mental integrity during their life process.
To complete our support team during the renovation period of our EMS, we are looking for the following profile for our Yverdon establishment which has 27 residents and specialises in geriatrics:

Whatever their role, the professionals of the Saphir Foundation share a common goal: to support the residents daily to enable them to concretely experience the institutional service strategy "like at home". That is to say, to preserve their habits as much as possible, to offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through genuine multidisciplinary collaboration, to ensure the well-being and happiness of the residents.
As a social educational assistant, you support the residents in daily living activities, taking into account the support plan and their level of autonomy. In collaboration with the team or independently, you are responsible for preparing and organising daily sociocultural activities for the residents and, of course, accompanying them in their implementation.
YOUR BACKGROUND - YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS
- Federal VET Diploma as a social educational assistant or recognised equivalent
- Driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles)
- Solid experience in residential care
- Ability to adapt and integrate
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Dynamic, attentive, flexible and organised personality
- Fluency in spoken and written French as well as proficiency with IT tools
- Your attitude is centred on the well-being of the resident
