ICT System Engineer / Infrastructure & Workplace (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you are responsible for the setup, operation and further development of the ICT infrastructure with a focus on server, network and workplace environments. You ensure stable, secure and high-performance operation of the systems and take on the analysis and resolution of disruptions in day-to-day business. In addition, you plan and implement infrastructure projects, evaluate new technologies and contribute your expertise specifically to architecture and standardisation decisions. You create and maintain documentation, ensure automation and optimisation of processes and support other departments with your technical know-how. Through your experience as a professional in the field of Infrastructure & Workplace, you contribute significantly to making the ICT environment future-proof.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring reliable IT operations and technical support of a versatile infrastructure across workplace, server and system-related components
Further development of the client and system landscape with a focus on availability, performance, backup and a sustainable lifecycle of the technologies used
Analysis of complex technical faults at 2nd/3rd level and implementation of permanent solutions for user, client and infrastructure issues
Planning and realisation of own IT projects as well as collaboration on cross-functional infrastructure projects around network, server and production-related systems
Qualifications:
Completed IT training with a focus on system technology or comparable technical background and several years of professional experience
Extensive know-how in operating client and server landscapes as well as experience with demanding Active Directory architectures and multiple domains
Practical experience in implementing technical projects as well as a strong understanding of stable, secure and professional IT operations
Independent and service-oriented personality with an analytical working style as well as very good German and good English skills
