Job Objective
The development team is the main team of the development department, which in turn reports to the IT department.
Software developers play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining software applications. They participate in analysing user needs and are responsible for writing technical specifications and programming software solutions. They work closely with project teams to ensure that applications meet functional, technical and security requirements.
Furthermore, they perform tests to ensure the quality of delivered products, and document development processes.
Your impact in this role
This role is essential to ensure a comprehensive, efficient and secure offering of tools developed for Sonic Suisse’s internal and external users.
As a Developer Analyst you are responsible for;
- Technical analysis: analysing these needs to translate them into technical specifications and ensuring that the technical frameworks defined by the group of architects are respected
- Development: carrying out assigned developments respecting the provided prioritisation, while remaining autonomous to decide if an emergency requires a priority change. Also ensuring maximum development quality while respecting the standards set by the company, notably through sufficient testing
- Support: providing support to other IT teams if necessary and being available within the development team to ensure knowledge sharing and provide the necessary assistance for overall smooth operation
- Monitoring and maintenance of developments.
Your background and expertise
- Excellent knowledge of the .Net C# environment, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience;
- Practical knowledge of SQL Server;
- Appreciated knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps Server;
- Excellent communication, listening and collaboration skills with technical teams and business stakeholders;
- Organised, rigorous and structured;
- Strong team spirit;
- Strict respect for the confidentiality of sensitive data;
- Fluency in French and conversational and technical English.
