For our client, a technically specialised company with its own production, we are looking for an experienced CNC Turner / Polymechanic for the mechanical processing of demanding individual parts and small series.
In this role, you will take on the entire manufacturing process on modern CNC lathes, from programming and setup through to machining and quality control. Responsibility is required, as you will work independently on varied manufacturing orders and actively contribute your experience to optimising machining processes.
This position is particularly suitable for an experienced CNC Turner who values precise work, varied assignments, and a manageable, collegial environment.
- Setting up and preparing machines for different manufacturing orders
- Manufacturing individual parts, small series, and prototypes
- Machining complex workpieces according to technical drawings
- Independently selecting and adapting suitable machining strategies
- Optimising existing CNC programmes and manufacturing processes
- Ongoing maintenance and simple servicing of machines and tools
- Documenting relevant manufacturing and quality data
- Experience in CNC turning
- Good knowledge of programming and setting up CNC lathes
- Experience with a Heidenhain control system is an advantage
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Experience in manufacturing individual parts and small series
- Good knowledge in the use of measuring and testing equipment
- Fluent German language skills
- Varied CNC manufacturing with individual parts, small series, and prototypes
- High proportion of independent work
- Plenty of scope for design in setup and optimisation
- Technically interesting and versatile manufacturing orders
- Direct communication with short decision-making paths
