Assistant HES Professor for the Midwifery Programme

MAIN MISSIONS

To strengthen the Midwifery programme team, we are looking for an assistant HES professor. In this position, you design and lead research projects and service provisions in the field of midwifery sciences and woman- and family-centred care.

You actively participate in the development and management of collaborative projects with care institutions and other cantonal, national and international partners.

Together with the dean and the relevant teaching team, you take part in the design, development, evaluation and regulation of training programmes at the preparatory year, Bachelor and Master levels, as well as in continuing and postgraduate education.

You teach in your area of expertise while promoting and developing midwifery sciences and woman- and family-centred care, knowledge transfer and interprofessionalism. You are fully committed to the life of the institution.

DESIRED PROFILE

You hold a Master’s degree complemented by a Doctorate in the field of midwifery sciences or an equivalent qualification. You have professional health training as well as a pedagogical/didactic certificate, or you are willing to obtain one within 2 years.

You have proven expertise in one or more of the following areas: obstetrics, gynaecology or paediatrics. Related to this/these area(s) of expertise, you have at least 5 years of proven experience and 3 years of research experience.

You have a good command of English (oral and written level B2); German is an asset.
