This position combines entry into Switzerland with a broad gynaecological-obstetric spectrum and good opportunities to develop your surgical and professional skills.
Our client is an established acute and central hospital in the German-speaking part of Switzerland with a broadly positioned women's clinic. Over 2,000 births are attended annually. The spectrum includes high-risk pregnancies, multiple and premature births, as well as complex obstetric situations. Premature infants are cared for from the 24th week of pregnancy in cooperation with neonatology.
Gynaecology also offers a wide conservative and surgical spectrum with minimally invasive procedures and specialised areas.
Your responsibilities:
- Independent care of gynaecological and obstetric patients
- Participation in operative gynaecology and targeted development of your surgical skills
- Care of regular births, high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric situations
- Assuming responsibility in clinical routine and in the training of younger colleagues
- Participation in medical on-call duties
Your qualifications:
- Specialist title in gynaecology and obstetrics
- Experience in a broad gynaecological-obstetric environment
- Initial surgical experience and interest in further developing these skills
- Confidence in handling demanding obstetric situations
- For foreign specialist titles: requirements for recognition in Switzerland
