Senior Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Senior Architect: Design & Project Management for the conceptual development and management of demanding architectural projects. You will accompany diverse urban planning, new build, conversion and interior design projects from the initial design idea through planning to realisation, taking responsibility for the design and planning quality. In addition to design and project management, you will coordinate clients, authorities and specialist planners and contribute your experience to competitions and project developments. The role combines strong design skills and ArchiCAD planning with project responsibility and professional leadership.
Responsibilities:
Development and management of demanding architectural projects from concept and design planning to realisation
Creation of high-quality design, aesthetic and spatial concepts for various building typologies and scales
Responsibility for the architectural and design quality across all relevant project phases
Handling of urban planning, new build, conversion and interior design projects
Development and elaboration of competition entries, feasibility studies and project developments
Management of projects regarding planning quality, costs, deadlines and project-specific requirements
Leadership and coordination of architects, specialist planners and experts within interdisciplinary project teams
Coordination with clients, authorities and other project participants
Creation and coordination of 3D models and planning documents with ArchiCAD
Further development of designs considering construction, materialisation and cost-effectiveness
Ensuring planning complies with relevant SIA standards and Swiss building regulations
Participation in the further development of digital planning processes and project standards
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Architecture ETH, FH or University or equivalent higher education qualification
Several years of professional experience in managing demanding architectural projects
Solid experience in design, planning and realisation of building projects
Proven knowledge in competitions, project development and architectural conception
Very good user skills in ArchiCAD 3D
Experience in professional leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams
Very good German skills as well as good English skills
