Business Controller in Production (m/f/d)

Role:
The company is an internationally operating technology group that develops highly specialised solutions for electrical and electronic connection technology as well as for sensor technology. The products and systems ensure that energy, data and signals can be transmitted and processed reliably.
The working environment is internationally oriented and combines technical expertise with modern production, development and business processes. Employees collaborate with different departments and international teams and operate at the interface of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales and central corporate functions.
Responsibilities:
As the central contact person for finance at the production site, you work closely with plant management, operations and other departments and support operational as well as strategic decisions.
You are responsible for forecasts, budgets and long-range planning and develop reliable projections for sales, volume, personnel, overheads and operational expenses.
Through variance and performance analyses, you assess developments against budget, forecast and previous periods and support regular business reviews with meaningful decision-making bases.
You are responsible for topics related to product costs, standard costing, production variances and profitability and work with operational teams on productivity and cost reduction measures.
Inventory, working capital, investments and assets are also within your scope, as well as internal controls, compliance, audits and the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Qualifications:
A higher education in finance, accounting, business administration, economics.
You are familiar with the requirements of plant controlling and manufacturing finance and have already successfully worked as a finance business partner with operational units.
SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud or comparable tools as well as very good Excel skills are part of your digital competence profile.
With your strong communication skills and proactive approach, you enjoy working with operations, supply chain, production and other departments and convince through a structured, solution-oriented working style.
Fluent written and spoken German.
