Safety Officer

We are looking for a motivated and committed Safety Officer. You will play a key role in protecting our employees, facilities, and activities. Responsible for occupational safety and fire protection, you will be a major player in prevention, continuous improvement, and the development of a genuine safety culture within the company.

Important notes: The position is attached to the Ecublens site, with travel expected to Cheseaux.

What you accomplish

• Ensure Migros Online's compliance according to the Migros group company solution.
• Identify, assess and prevent occupational risks within the company.
• Advise management, executives and staff on occupational safety issues, and develop safety, emergency and fire protection plans.
• Train and raise awareness among employees on effective and sustainable safety and risk prevention practices.
• Review all incidents and accidents, analyse their causes and propose appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
• Participate in safety audits, write reports for the management team and be the contact person for internal and external auditors.

What you bring

• Education: Completed professional apprenticeship (CFC)
• Specialisation: Federal diploma as STPS Specialist or equivalent
• Professional experience: At least 2 years in a similar role, in logistics or industry
• Please attach copies of your work certificates as well as your Federal diploma as STPS Specialist or equivalent.
• Valid driving licence (and vehicle to travel between sites)
• Regular contact with Migros group companies and frequent collaboration with German-speaking contacts.
• French (B2)
• German (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• English (ADVANTAGEOUS)
