Project Manager Real Estate / Client Representation (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 130,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced professional for client representation and real estate project management in the operational real estate environment. You will be responsible for demanding renovation and new build projects from the preliminary phase to successful completion, managing investment volumes from smaller measures up to around CHF 20 million. As a central interface, you coordinate internal stakeholders as well as external architects, general and specialist planners, and contractors. The position combines construction management, cost and schedule control, tendering, and strategic real estate tasks with a high degree of personal responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Independent management of renovation, conversion, and new build projects for office, commercial, and operationally relevant properties
Assuming the role of client representative from preliminary planning through to realisation and handover
Managing projects with investment volumes of approximately CHF 0.1 million to CHF 20 million
Leading and coordinating general planners, architects, specialist planners, contractors, and other project partners
Responsibility for compliance with costs, deadlines, quality, and project objectives
Coordinating interfaces between internal users, operations, management, and external project participants
Preparing project proposals, decision-making documents, cost estimates, and project reports
Supporting tendering, bidding, awarding, and procurement processes
Reviewing offers, contracts, amendments, and invoices from the client’s perspective
Supporting acceptances, commissioning, defect rectification, and project handovers
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, Swiss building regulations, and building acceptance processes
Deputising for selected tasks in budgeting, reporting, sustainability, and strategic real estate planning
Qualifications:
Advanced professional training as construction manager, technician HF, architect FH/ETH, civil engineer FH/ETH or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in construction management and project leadership of building projects
Solid experience in client representation, general planning environment, or on the client side is an advantage
Good knowledge of tendering, awarding, cost management, and contract law
Thorough knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building processes
Experience in managing external planning and execution partners
Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
