Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Construction Manager Building Construction / Overall Planning for the realisation of technically and architecturally demanding building construction and infrastructure projects. You will independently take on construction management and execution coordination and ensure compliance with quality, costs and deadlines throughout all realisation phases. The project portfolio includes residential and commercial buildings, public buildings, industrial and technical facilities as well as complex conversions and renovations. The position combines classic construction management with interdisciplinary overall and structural planning as well as modern digital construction processes such as BIM and BIM2Field.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of demanding building construction and infrastructure projects within an interdisciplinary overall planning
Responsibility for controlling and monitoring quality, costs and deadlines during the entire execution phase
Coordination of contractors, architects, specialist planners, structural engineers, authorities and clients
Control of construction execution according to execution plans, contracts, SIA standards and technical project specifications
Preparation of cost estimates and tenders according to NPK/CRB as well as participation in tendering, awarding and contract management
Creation, coordination and ongoing monitoring of schedules and construction programmes as well as early detection of deviations
Leading and minute-taking of construction and coordination meetings including site reporting and pending issue management
Conducting measurement, invoice and supplementary claim checks as well as support in ongoing construction cost controlling
Coordination of technical interfaces between architecture, structure, building services and execution
Support of project and overall project management in technical, scheduling and commercial matters during realisation
Organisation and accompaniment of acceptances, defect management, commissioning and handovers
Participation in the digitalisation of construction processes and application of modern methods such as BIM and BIM2Field to support site management
Qualifications:
Degree as Construction Manager HFP/HF, Technician HF, Architect FH/ETH or comparable construction-technical education
Several years of professional experience in construction management of building construction projects in Switzerland
Sound knowledge of Swiss construction and contract law as well as relevant SIA standards
Practical experience in tendering and cost estimation with NPK/CRB as well as contract management
Knowledge in cost, schedule, supplementary claim and quality management during construction execution
Confident handling of Microsoft Office and digital construction administration tools; experience with BIM/BIM2Field is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
