To strengthen the HEG Team, and more specifically the communication team of the research institutes, the School of Management (HEG) is advertising the following position:
A Communications Officer
Your mission
Support the Management in defining, implementing, and promoting internal and external communication, particularly for the research institutes.
Promote applied research projects, popularise scientific communications, and ensure the coherence of the institutional image.
Design and execute communication actions contributing to the visibility of the institutes and the implementation of internal communication actions at the School of Management.
Independently organise internal events, manage editorial content, and coordinate the communication activities of the institutes as well as the internal communication of HEG, in collaboration with research teams, internal and external partners, Management, and the communication service of HEG/HES"‘SO Valais-Wallis.
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, public relations, multimedia, or an equivalent field.
You have a good knowledge of the research and innovation ecosystem at local, national, and international levels. Experience in supporting research is an asset.
You have several years of professional experience in the field of communication.
You demonstrate excellent analytical and synthesis skills and a strong attention to detail.
You combine adaptability and organisational skills, even during periods of high demand.
You have experience in organising scientific events (conferences, workshops).
Skills in video content creation are an advantage.
You are a native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the second national language and English.
Work rate 80% negotiable

Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, public relations, multimedia, or a related field
Several years of experience in a comparable role
Good knowledge of the research and innovation ecosystem at local, national, and international levels; experience in research support is an advantage
Strong analytical and synthesis skills as well as high attention to detail
Adaptability and organisational talent even under high workload
Experience in organising scientific events (conferences, workshops)
Knowledge in video content creation is an advantage
Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the second cantonal language and English
Employment rate 80% (or by agreement)
